Accounting Assistant Location: Los Angeles, California Pay Rate: $28.00 per hour
Position Overview A global beauty and personal care company seeks an Accounting Assistant for a four-month hybrid contract in Los Angeles, California. This role supports the finance team with day-to-day accounting operations and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and on time
Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Assist with month-end and quarter-end close activities
Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation
Prepare routine financial reports and data summaries for management
Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to resolve billing issues
Requirements
1–3 years of accounting or finance support experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
Ability to work in a hybrid environment based in Los Angeles
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems
Background in consumer goods or retail industry
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
