You'll play an important role in keeping our financial operations running smoothly, with responsibilities including accounts receivable, payroll, commissions, job costing, reconciliations, and general accounting support. We're looking for someone who is organized, dependable, thinks before they act, and takes pride in doing things the right way.What We OfferStarting pay of $22/hour, based on experienceHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with a 4% company matchPTO and sick timeCompany holidays and employee eventsTraining and opportunities to growA team-oriented work environmentThe opportunity to be part of a winning team that takes pride in doing things the right wayWhat You'll DoManage daily accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, payments, account reconciliation, and outstanding balancesAssist with weekly and biweekly payroll processing for employees and subcontractorsCalculate, review, and process employee commissions and bonusesAssist with job costing, ensuring labor, materials, and other job expenses are accurately recordedReview job costs and investigate discrepancies or unexpected variancesReconcile accounts and assist with month-end accounting tasksEnter and maintain accurate financial information in company and accounting systemsResearch and resolve billing, payment, payroll, commission, and job-costing issuesPrepare reports and spreadsheets for managementWork closely with Coordinators, Project Managers, Payroll, and Accounting teamsMaintain accurate and organized financial recordsAssist with general accounting and administrative tasks as neededHandle confidential employee and company financial information with discretionHelp identify problems and find solutions before they become bigger problemsWhat We're Looking ForYou don't have to know everything on day one.
