Accounting Clerk

Overview

We are looking to add an Accounting Clerk I to our team in San Antonio. This role will support day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing.

The right person will be organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily AP and AR tasks such as data entry, posting, and filing
• 
  
• Assist with processing product and service contracts
• 
  
• Support monthly billing activities
• 
  
• Help research and resolve accounting-related questions or discrepancies
• 
  
• Assist with maintaining and improving internal accounting processes
• 
  
• Support the team with various accounting tasks, including expense report review
• 
  
• Provide backup for incoming calls and assist with general inquiries as needed
• 
  

Qualifications

• 
  
• At least 2 years of accounting experience
• 
  
• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred (or equivalent experience)
• 
  
• Working knowledge of AP/AR processes and general accounting concepts
• 
  
• Experience with accounting systems (Acumatica is a plus)
• 
  
• Comfortable using standard Windows-based programs
