Position: Accounting InternLocation: Columbus, OhioPay Range: $25.00 per hourSuperior is looking for highly motivated and energetic students to participate in our internship program during the Fall 2026 term (September – December). When you join Superior, you join a national leader in electrical design and construction. In addition to your day-to-day responsibilities, we provide our interns with lunch-and-learns, leadership training, career prep, unique jobsite visits, and beyond.Under the guidance of our Accounting team, you'll work alongside the Accounting Managers and the Director of Accounting, gaining exposure to various Accounting functions including month‑end closing, financial reporting, and year‑end audit support. This role is based at our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with the month‑end close process, including journal entry preparation and account reconciliationsRecord and verify financial transactions such as invoices, receipts, payments, and expensesSupport year‑end audit requests by providing necessary documentation and informationHelp analyze and summarize financial statements and transactionsYour Character TraitsYou're a great communicator, curious, a team player, and ready to work with colleaguesYou have a knack for solving problems and strong analytical skillsYou're organized, great at prioritization, and have a strong attention to detailYou're able to exercise confidentiality and discretion with sensitive informationEducationRequired: You must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in accountingAbout The Superior Group (Superior)Superior is a national leader in electrical design and construction.
