Synigent is partnering with an innovative manufacturing-focused organization in the Austin area seeking an Accounting Manager to help build and scale their finance operations.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone ready to step beyond Senior Accountant or Accounting Supervisor responsibilities into broader operational ownership. The position will support full-cycle accounting, process improvement, ERP migration initiatives, and project/job costing in a fast-paced growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage full-cycle accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, reconciliations, and month-end close
  • Support future ERP migration efforts from QuickBooks Online to a larger platform such as NetSuite
  • Help establish scalable accounting processes and reporting structure
  • Support job costing and project-based financial tracking
  • Drive process automation and operational efficiencies
Requirements
  • 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience
  • Strong QuickBooks Online and Excel skills
  • Experience in small-to-mid-sized business environments
  • Process improvement and systems mindset
  • Ability to work independently in a growth-oriented company
  • Must reside in the Austin, TX metro area
Preferred
  • Manufacturing or project-based accounting experience
  • ERP migration exposure
  • GovCon / DCAA familiarity
