About the RoleTransdev is seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations, including payroll, accounting processes, and compliance. This role partners closely with the General Manager and is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, efficient payroll administration, and adherence to all regulatory requirements. The position is based in Baltimore, MD.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess new employee files and records and submit them to the General Manager for approval; submit appropriate paperwork to the regional accounting office.Calculate and input driver and staff payroll into the system for processing.Track attendance for part‑time employees.Maintain driver reconciliation and deposits.Assist the General Manager in accurately tracking overtime to reduce and eliminate unnecessary and/or additional punch hours.Carry out other duties as required.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to multi‑task and work in a fast‑paced environment.Computer literacy – Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.Subject to DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.Benefits & CompensationCompetitive compensation package: minimum $90,000 – maximum $101,000.Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeksSick days: 5 daysHolidays: 12 days; 8 standard and 4 floatingOther standard benefits: 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental and vision, life insurance, short‑term disability, voluntary long‑term disability.Benefits may vary depending on location policy.
