Accounting Manager - Boston - Hybrid

A growing global professional services organization is seeking an Accounting Manager to join its Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly technical CPA with Big 4 experience to play a key role in financial reporting, technical accounting, and the ongoing development of a scalable, best-in-class finance function.

Responsibilities:

• Lead key aspects of the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analyses
• Research and apply U.S. GAAP and IFRS guidance across a variety of accounting areas
• Support financial reporting, audit readiness, and external audit activities
• Partner with FP&A, Tax, HR, Legal, and business leaders on accounting matters
• Assist with multi-entity and multi-currency accounting operations
• Drive process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and support systems enhancements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA required 
• 5–7 years of accounting experience, preferably Big 4 public accounting experience
• Strong technical accounting expertise and knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Working knowledge of IFRS
• Experience with ERP systems

This role is ideal for a CPA coming from public accounting or a technical corporate accounting environment who is looking to broaden their impact within a dynamic and growing organization. You will play a visible role in finance transformation initiatives and help build a modern, technology-enabled finance organization.
