Our award-winning client is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team. We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our team! In this crucial role, you'll oversee all aspects of our financial reporting, ensuring timely and accuratefinancial statements while leading a team of talented professionals.
Responsibilities:
Manage the entire accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit/collections, and invoicing.
Supervise a team of specialists to ensure proper allocation and completion of tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
Maintain a deep understanding of financial reporting and general ledger structures.
Prepare and oversee the general ledger, ensuring accurate financial records.
Lead the close process for quarterly and year-end financials.
Support the Controller in budget and forecasting activities.
Manage payroll operations, adhering to company policies and government regulations.
Analyze delinquent accounts and recommend solutions while maintaining positive client relationships.
Ensure timely filing of all state and federal tax reports.
Collaborate with other finance department managers to achieve department goals.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Respond to inquiries from senior management regarding financial results and special reports.
Partner with the Controller to facilitate smooth year-end audits.
Provide training and development opportunities for your team members.
Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business with an emphasis in Accounting (MBA preferred).
Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a similar accounting leadership role.
Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles.
Proven ability to supervise and lead a team effectively.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
