Key Responsibilities for the Accounting Manager:

• 
  
• Manage and oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• 
  
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting deliverables for accuracy and completeness
• 
  
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports
• 
  
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company accounting policies
• 
  
• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff while fostering a collaborative team environment
• 
  
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning initiatives
• 
  
• Coordinate external audits and serve as a primary liaison with auditors and external partners
• 
  
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability

• Partner with operational and executive leadership to provide financial insights and support business decisions

Qualifications for the Accounting Manager:

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 
  
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• 
  
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and general ledger accounting
• 
  
• Experience managing month-end close processes and preparing financial statements
• 
  
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• 
  
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• 
  
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• 
  
• Manufacturing or distribution industry experience is preferred
• 
  
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner across all levels of the organization
• 
  
• CPA designation or CPA-track preferred but not required
