Accounting Manager

Salary: $100,000–$120,000

Key Responsibilities for the Accounting Manager

• 
  
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and oversee the month-end close process
• 
  
• Prepare account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial analyses
• 
  
• Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• 
  
• Partner with the CFO on audit activities, regulatory compliance, and IRS Form 990 reporting
• 
  
• Develop, maintain, and strengthen internal controls and accounting procedures
• 
  
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• 
  
• Support accounts payable, payroll, and contributed revenue reporting functions
• 
  
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for leadership and key stakeholders
• 
  

Qualifications for the Accounting Manager

• 
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA or MBA preferred
• 
  
• 5+ years of accounting experience in public accounting and/or corporate accounting environments
• 
  
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• 
  
• Experience working with ERP systems is a plus
• 
  
• Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical capabilities
• 
  
• Detail-oriented professional with excellent organizational and communication skills
•
