Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Daily cash reconciliation for hotels
- Processing of vendor invoices and payments
- Booking sales records and monitoring account receivables
- Ensure hotel level book keepers are properly reconciling ledgers
- Must have hands-on experience in payroll, billing, and accounts payable and incurred cost proposal preparation.
- Managing the receivables process including incoming payments by preparing bank deposits, maintaining, balancing financial information, verifying invoices, and updating the general ledger.
- Participate in Annual budget process of hotels
- Perform monthly account reconciliations of all balance sheet account and certain P&L accounts.
- Must work efficiently and independently while paying close attention to details
- Other Duties includes special projects assigned by CEO.
Requirements:
- BA or AS in accounting or business administration
- Must have hotel accounting experience
- 2-3 years of hotel accounting experience desired
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Online- QuickBooks, and Excel and other hotel accounting software, DOCYT a Plus
Salary: $20 -$23 per hour depending on experience.
