Accounting Manager (CPA) - TouringOur client offers financial services to a client base consisting of individuals and businesses within the music, entertainment, and sport industries. The company is based across three main offices with three core departments: Business Management, Accountancy, and Tax.We are seeking a hands-on Financial Accountant who will be responsible for managing a team of associate-level accountants, focusing on servicing our touring clients, financial reporting, and maintaining accounting processes. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, a sense of ownership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering results in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and review the books and records for a portfolio of key clients, including partnerships, LLCs, corporations, and sole proprietorships;Review and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP, along with analytic reports for touring clients;Monitor and report financial performance concerning bank covenants;Prepare financial modeling; experience in financial modeling is a plus;Design, implement, and maintain strong internal controls, processes, and procedures;Manage deadlines and provide timely information to tax and commercial departments;Assist in setting and monitoring budgets for client engagements, preparing for audits, and liaising with auditors;Actively manage, develop, train, and mentor staff members.Candidate RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent;7+ years of professional accounting experience;3+ years of experience managing a touring team;Must be a licensed CPA;Detailed knowledge of GAAP and experience with tax compliance;Familiarity with QuickBooks Enterprise and/or QuickBooks Online.Additional Preferred QualitiesExperience with CCH Axcess;Master's Degree in Accounting or equivalent;CMA Certification.Login to save this search and get notified of similar positions.Related Jobs:Controller - West Hollywood, CACFO - La Palma, CAVP Accounting Advisory - Los Angeles, CAReady to take your career to new heights in sunny Los Angeles, California?
