What your future day will look like:

• Record and reconcile daily financial transactions related to floor plan financing activities.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Monitor customer accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Reconcile bank accounts, inventory financing balances, interest income, and loan portfolios.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Calculate, track, and reconcile accrued interest, fees, and financing charges.
• Analyze account activity and prepare variance reports for management.
• Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and explanations.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and applicable financial regulations.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting.
• Monitor inventory audits and verify financed units against accounting records.
• Collaborate with operations, collections, and sales teams to resolve account issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.

To be a champion in this role, you will need:

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• QuickBooks proficiency a strong plus
• Strong Excel
• Clean personal credit
