Ledgent Finance and Accounting has a prominent manufacturing company in the St Paul area needing to add an Accounting Manager to their team!
- Pay: $120,000-$160,000 PLUS Bonus

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll coordination
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and management reports
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements
- Develop, document, and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits; act as primary audit contact
- Monitor balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial initiatives and system improvements
- Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting team members
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
