LHH Recruitment Solutions (pka Parker+Lynch) is working with a growing small business-focused accounting firm on the northside of Indianapolis looking for an Accounting/Tax Manager. This role will report to a Director, will support a defined book of clients, and be over as well as a part of a high performing collaborative team of accounting professionals. This position is open due to continued growth and offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure across both accounting and tax in a more balanced public accounting environment.
Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of small business clients
Review tax returns and financial reporting deliverables
Mentor and support accounting staff
Serve as the primary client contact for accounting and tax matters
Monitor deadlines and client workflow
Lead onboarding of new clients
Provide guidance on bookkeeping and accounting issues
Support process improvements and team initiatives
Qualifications:
CPA or EA certification required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
Public accounting, tax, or small business accounting experience required
Supervision experience required
QuickBooks Online experience preferred
