Accounting Manager

We are partnering with a well-established, growth-oriented financial institution seeking a Senior Operations Accounting Leader to oversee key operational accounting areas and drive process improvements across the organization.ResponsibilitiesLead day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close for multiple operational functionsOversee deposit-related regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with all requirementsReview GL activity, variance analyses, and reconciliationsMaintain strong internal controls, policies, and proceduresSupport audits and prepare reports for internal/external stakeholdersPartner on new products, services, and system enhancementsDrive automation and process improvement initiativesSupport ad hoc analyses and special projectsQualifications6+ years of progressive accounting experienceBig 4 background preferred, ideally with financial services clientsIn-house or advisory experience in banking or financial services a major plusStrong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory reportingProven leadership and cross-department collaboration skillsCPA or MBA preferredBachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldAdvanced Excel skills; experience with ERP or automation tools beneficialHigh-impact leadership role within a stable, expanding financial institutionExposure to new products, systems, and automation initiativesStrong potential for internal growth and advancement#J-18808-Ljbffr
