The Company is looking to continue to build its senior support team with an experienced Accounting Manager who has a track record of success in a face-paced, roll-up-your-sleeves environment. The ideal candidate is a humble, organized, problem-solving, detail-oriented team player with relevant accounting and cash management experience.JOB QUALIFICATIONS BA in Accounting/Business Administration or equivalent is preferredCollege Course work and/or a minimum of 7+ years relevant work experience will be consideredAbility to work in a fast paced and challenging environmentOrganizational skillsCommunication skills essential with the ability to build both internal and external business relationshipsAbility to effectively collaborate across multifunctional teamsTreasury / banking / cash management experienceReporting SkillsTyping & Data Entry skillsProficient in Word, Outlook, Excel (V-Lookups, pivot tables, etc.), Accounting/ERP ProgramsExcellent oral and written communications English skillsStrong analytical skills and attention to detailsStrong Leadership SkillsResponsive, dependable, responsibleESSENTIAL DUTIES Be a leader in the accounting department, working with outsourced 3rd party accounting team to produce timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and year-end financial statementsOversee intercompany accounting entriesManage cash, banking and treasury functionsAssist with tax reporting and complianceManage the accounts payable and staff accounting teamCoach, mentor and lead team to meet and /or exceed monthly goalsAbility to effectively collaborate across multifunctional teamsResponds timely and professionally to requests for information both internally and externallyRegular attendance at company meetings when requested and involvement and interaction in the meetingsKeep management informed of all activities, including timely preparation of reportsAssist in writing, developing, and implementing new procedures to improve the accounting departmentAbility to build both internal and external business customer, vendor, and teammates relationshipsSee bills and invoices are paid timely and accuratelyEvaluate employee performance and identify training needsEnsure that all teammates adhere to company polices and guidelinesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES ManagementMonitor cash balances and cash forecastsMaintain a documented system of accounting policies and proceduresManage outsourced functionsDevelop financial and tax strategies and liaison with CPAOversee accounting transactionsEnsure that accounts payable are paid in a timely mannerEnsure that all reasonable discounts are taken on accounts payableEnsure that periodic bank reconciliations are completedEnsure that required debt payments are made on a timely basisMaintain the chart of accountsMaintain an orderly accounting filing systemMaintain a system of controls over accounting transactionsPrepare and file sales tax returnsPrepare and file annual 1099 tax returnsReporting Issue timely and complete financial statementsAssist with the preparation of quarterly and annual reportingProvide financial analyses as neededCompliance Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for any financial annual auditsMonitor debt levels and compliance with debt covenantsComply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filingsPHYSICAL DEMANDS Typically sits for extended periods at a desk and in front of a computer.Must be able to sit, stand, bend, and lift (up to 20 lbs.) for short periods of time.Repetitive movements – Data Entry hand movement on keyboard, phone call handlingWhile performing this job, an employee is regularly required to talk or hear.Ability to Commute Pomona, CA 91768 (Required)#J-18808-Ljbffr
