LHH is partnered with a local non-profit organization to add an Accounting Manager to their team.
This role is a good fit for somebody who is mission driven, likes to be hands-on in the accounting, an empathetic teacher who cares about developing staff, and somebody who brings a process-improvement mindset.
Role: Accounting Manager
Location: Portland, OR
Work mode: Hybrid (4 days on site/week)
Hours: Typical 40-45 hours/week
Compensation: $100-110K

What you'll do:
Ownership of month-end close process
Supervise and review work of A/P and payroll team
Contribute to technology enhancements for accounting/finance systems and software
Develop accounting policies and procedures
Qualifications:
3-6 years of experience, including full accounting cycle and month-end close experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
Demonstrated knowledge of US GAAP
Nonprofit, government, education industry experience preferred
Experience with large ERP systems preferred
Flexible, adaptable, self-starter eager to bring forward ideas and solutions
