Accounting Manager

Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join their team in North Carolina. This supervisory position offers an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about accounting, process improvement, and leveraging AI technology to enhance business operations.

Responsibilities

• Review monthly bookkeeping and financial statements for multiple clients to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Perform QuickBooks consultations for more advanced clients to optimize their accounting processes.
• Oversee vendor management, ensuring all vendor relationships are effectively maintained.
• Manage and mentor direct reports, fostering a productive and supportive work environment.
• Improve financial statement and bookkeeping processes and workflow for greater efficiency.
• Embrace AI technology to drive process improvements and efficiencies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in a managerial capacity.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles.
• Excellent vendor management skills with the ability to maintain strong professional relationships.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing team members.
• Innovative mindset with an eagerness to adopt and leverage AI technology in accounting practices.

Required Work Hours

The Accounting Manager will work from Monday to Friday. Specific hours will be discussed with the successful candidate.

Additional Details: The position offers a competitive pay range from $48.00 to $58.00 per hour, with approximately 0% travel time required. This is a supervisory role offering the opportunity to lead a team and make impactful changes within the organization.
