Client's Global Accounting team is a diverse, highly skilled group passionate about Client's mission of serving patients. Teams span North America, South America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific, with accounting operations supported by an external business partner in India.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager with a strong background in ERP implementations, specifically SAP S/4HANA. This role plays a critical part in supporting the finance function through a major system transformation, combining deep accounting expertise with hands-on ERP implementation experience to ensure a smooth transition and strong post-go-live support.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a key finance representative in the SAP S/4HANA implementation project

Support and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test script development, execution, and issue resolution

Lead and maintain process documentation, including SOPs, workflows, and control narratives

Coordinate and support cutover planning and execution, ensuring data accuracy and readiness for go-live

Develop and deliver training materials and conduct training sessions for end users within finance and accounting

Provide hypercare support post-go-live, troubleshooting issues and stabilizing processes

Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, consultants, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery

Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and system utilization within the new ERP environment

Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)

5 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including management responsibility

Proven experience in ERP implementations, with strong preference for SAP S/4HANA

Hands-on experience with UAT, cutover, and post-go-live support (hypercare)

Strong understanding of accounting processes (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, etc.)

Experience documenting processes and developing training materials

Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, transformation-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in a large-scale transformation or system migration

Familiarity with internal controls frameworks (SOX experience a plus)

Experience working with cross-functional global teams

Basic Qualifications (per req)

Doctorate degree or Master's degree and 2 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience, or Associate's degree and 10 years of experience, or high school diploma/GED and 12 years of experience.
