We're partnering with a privately held manufacturing company seeking an Accounting Manager to join its growing finance team. This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role offering broad responsibility across general ledger accounting, financial reporting, month-end close, inventory accounting, process improvement, and staff leadership.

What You'll Do

• 
  
• Lead the monthly and year-end close process from start to finish
• 
  
• Prepare accurate financial statements and supporting reporting
• 
  
• Oversee general ledger accounting activities and account reconciliations
• 
  
• Supervise, mentor, and help develop members of the accounting team
• 
  
• Partner with operations on inventory, manufacturing, and financial reporting matters
• 
  
• Coordinate annual audits and support external auditors
• 
  
• Improve accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting efficiencies
• 
  
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• 
  
• Support continued growth by helping build scalable accounting processes
• 
  

What We're Looking For

• 
  
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• 
  
• Prior experience in an Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, Accounting Supervisor, or similar leadership role
• 
  
• Manufacturing, consumer products, distribution, or other inventory-intensive industry experience
• 
  
• Strong general ledger accounting and financial reporting background
• 
  
• Experience leading or supervising accounting staff (direct or indirect)
• 
  
• Experience owning or playing a significant leadership role in the monthly close process
• 
  
• Inventory accounting experience preferred
• 
  
• ERP system experience
• 
  
• Process improvement mindset with a collaborative leadership style
• 
  
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
•
