Accounting Specialist

Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), including vendor invoices, client billings, and payment approvals.
Prepare and distribute monthly client invoices through email, mail, and client portals.
Reconcile AP/AR accounts, outstanding balances, and financial records to ensure accuracy.
Maintain accurate account registers, ledgers, and journals to ensure transactions are accurate and consistent.
Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies in collaboration with operations and sales teams.
Monitor payment deadlines, follow up on overdue accounts, and support collection efforts.
Respond to vendor and customer inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account balances.
Set up and maintain vendor and customer accounts.
Identify and recommend improvements to the billing and vendor payment processes.
Generating reports and working with the accounting manager and controller.
