Our client is seeking an Accounting Specialist to work from our office and support accounts payable, accounts receivable and other various account reconciliations.

Primary Responsibilities of the Accounting Specialist
- Prepare customer invoices and apply cash receipts.
- Accepting credit card payments and performing collection calls as necessary.
- Process customer credit applications and conduct reference checks.
- Maintain cash liquidity report and reconcile cash.
- Assist with month-end closing.
- Pay employees by receiving and verifying expense reports.
- Record invoices and process weekly checks and invoices, expedite as necessary.
Preferred Qualifications of the Accounting Specialist
- Holds bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or business.
- Prior experience working in non-profit.
- 2+ years’ experience in general ledger accounting
- Tech Savvy (intermediate with Excel)
