Position Overview

The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for processing invoices, ensuring timely vendor payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting month-end accounting activities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a dynamic environment where accuracy and teamwork are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
• 
  
• Review and verify invoices for compliance with company policies and procedures
• 
  
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies by partnering with vendors and internal teams
• 
  
• Prepare and process electronic payments, ACH transactions, and check runs
• 
  
• Monitor and maintain vendor accounts to ensure timely and accurate payments
• 
  
• Reconcile accounts payable records and assist with month-end close activities
• 
  
• Maintain vendor information, payment terms, tax documentation, and account records
• 
  
• Partner with project managers and operations teams to track job costs and vendor activity
• 
  
• Support continuous improvement efforts within the accounts payable function
• 
  
• Assist with additional accounting and administrative projects as needed
• 
  

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience preferred

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Work Environment

This position is primarily office-based with occasional visits to project sites as needed. Candidates should be comfortable interacting with operational teams and working in a dynamic environment supporting multiple projects.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: $23.37 - $31.00 per hour
