Accounts Payable Specialist

Position Overview

The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for processing a high volume of invoices and resolving payment-related inquiries for third-party service providers nationwide. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate across internal departments and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, process, verify, and reconcile invoices within an invoice management system
• Handle high-volume processing (up to 100 invoices per day)
• Research and resolve internal and external payment inquiries, including discrepancy resolution
• Communicate professionally with vendors and internal teams via phone and email
• Assist with payment processes (initiated by the accounting team)
• Create and submit debit and credit memos for approval
• Support additional accounting operations as needed

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Accounts Payable Experience preferred
• Experience handling invoice resolution and escalations
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service mindset and team-oriented approach
• Adaptable and open to learning new systems and processes

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
• Experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards preferred)
• Exposure to AP automation tools (Corrigo experience a plus)

Schedule & Work Environment:

• Monday-Friday
• Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (flex start as early as 7:00 AM)
• Hybrid: 4 days onsite (Mon-Thurs), Fridays remote
• Location - Norristown, PA

Pay Details: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour
