Reason for position Her team needs to divert some of their focus to assisting with the implementation of the new enterprise software. This individual will join another contractor in assisting the team with the day-to-day accounts payable functions.

Location West Campus-12555 Manchester Road, Des Peres, MO 63131

Onsite/Hybrid/Offsite Onsite 4-5 days a week depending on department needs and initiatives

Work Hours 8:00 5:00 CST but would be flexible if someone wanted to work 7:00 4:00 or 7:30 4:30

Interview Process There will be one video interview with the leader and one other leader.
Responsibility Summary/Job Description
The Accounts Payable Spec will ensure the firm s bills are paid in a timely fashion and in accordance with company guidelines. The Accounts Payable Spec. will produce records and financial transactions that will be used by accountants and auditors.
Responsibilities:
" Manage and prioritize high-volume invoice workflow.
" Ensure invoice processing is performed timely and accurately.
" Process weekly cash disbursements (check runs).
" Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any differences or outstanding invoices in a timely manner.
" Provide exceptional customer service via phone/email/in-person to vendors and internal customers, working to resolve issues that might arise.
" Manage open Purchase Orders to facilitate timely payments.
" Assist with Month-end processing, as assigned, including month-end accruals and General Ledger Reconciliation.
" 1099 reporting & filing
" Manage incoming mail, including sorting and investigating refund checks
Required Qualifications
" 3+ years of full cycle accounts payable experience in a large organization
" 1+ years of experience working in an ERP system
" Strong proficiency in MS Office particularly in MS Excel (proficient in formulas)
Preferred Qualifications
" Bachelor s degree in accounting, business, finance or another related field
" CAPA (Certified Accounts Payable Associate) and CAPP (Certified Accounts Payable Professional)
" Previous experience working with a Purchase Order system
" Previous Oracle experience
" Intermediate MS Excel skills (pivot tables)

" Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-oriented environment
" Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in invoice processing and data entry
" Ability to prioritize and manage high volumes of work
" Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage high-volume workloads
Top 3 Things
1) 3+ years of full cycle accounts payable experience at a large organization
2) Previous ERP system experience
3) Strong proficiency in MS Office particularly in MS Excel
Additional Information The firm is currently in the process of implementing a new ERP system (Oracle) which is scheduled to GoLive in January. This person will be required to learn the current ERP system and then learn the new ERP system in January. The leader therefore needs someone who has previous ERP experience as it will help them to learn the two systems and pivot more easily.

The leader has reduced the experience requirements and added previous ERP system and large organization experience as a requirement. The leader would like to see candidates that have accounts payable experience at large organizations. Small to mid-size organizational experience where job duties included other responsibilities, e.g., bookkeeping, would not be a fit.
