Accounts Payable Specialist

LHH is partnering with a growing company that is looking for a temporary AP Specialist. This role is responsible for full-cycle accounts payable processing, vendor management, reconciliations, and supporting month-end close activities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and wants to contribute to process improvements within the accounting function. This position is fully onsite in downtown Seattle, WA but offers a quick interview process.

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
• Perform 2-way and 3-way matching of purchase orders, receipts, and invoices
• Prepare weekly check runs, ACH, and wire payments
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies
• Maintain vendor records, W-9s, and support annual 1099 preparation
• Assist with month-end close, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Respond to vendor and internal inquiries regarding payments
• Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and efficiency

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounts payable experience
• Experience with full-cycle AP processing
• Knowledge of invoice matching and account reconciliations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with ERP/accounting software such as NetSuite, Sage, Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, or similar
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Pay Details: $32.00 to $34.00 per hour
