Activities Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate professional to support engaging, person-centered activities for individuals in a welcoming and inclusive environment. In this role, you will help create meaningful experiences that encourage social connection, enjoyment, and overall well-being. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, and committed to providing attentive service with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, and facilitating group and individual activities
• Prepare materials and equipment needed for daily programs and events
• Encourage participation and help create a supportive, enjoyable atmosphere
• Set up and clean up activity spaces before and after events
• Support transportation or escort needs related to activities when appropriate
• Maintain accurate records of participation, supplies, and activity schedules
• Collaborate with team members to ensure activities are safe, engaging, and inclusive
• Communicate with participants in a respectful, professional, and friendly manner

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience in recreation, hospitality, caregiving, customer service, or a related field is helpful
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to maintain a positive and patient approach in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills for recordkeeping and communication
