Administrative Assistant
Location:Houston, Texas 77070
Pay Rate: $16 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide day-to-day clerical and administrative support. This role involves answering phones, performing data entry, and maintaining organized filing systems. The ideal candidate has great computer skills, strong communication abilities, and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional manner
- Perform accurate data entry into company systems and spreadsheets
- Maintain organized physical and digital filing systems
- Assist with general office support and administrative tasks as needed
- Support team members with routine clerical duties
- Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of all assigned work
Qualifications
- Computer skills (familiarity with Microsoft Office or similar programs)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Dependable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively
- Willingness to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy
Preferred Skills (not required)
- Previous office or administrative experience
- Experience answering phones in a business environment
Work Environment
This is an in-office position that requires sitting, typing, and occasional light filing or lifting of documents.
