Job Summary and Qualifications Under the supervision and direction of the Chief Operating Officer, this position serves as a representative and ambassador to promote positive relationships and strong partnerships for the benefit of the organization, provider partners, patients and the community we serve. Responsibilities include direction and decision-making, compliance with regulatory agencies, financial performance evaluation, and effective collaboration with physician and hospital leaders to implement projects and processes that promote growth, efficiencies, collaboration, and optimal outcomes across system divisions. Shapes the organization by providing vision and leadership for hospital operations. What you will do in this role: Responds and adapts to changing expectations by altering goals and objectives, reprioritizes as necessary. Evaluates, establishes, and implements new procedures and instrumentation. Reviews existing procedures and policies implements change where needed. Develops and implements department strategic plan based on hospital plans. Assures the personnel management for the departments is conducted within the guidelines of hospital policies and procedures for human resources. Address staff problems in a profession and timely manner Functions at a senior leader level in an active leadership with the hospital's executives, medical staff leadership, hospital senior leadership and management team. Responsible for department leaders in establishing measures of performance, increase productivity, quality improvement, cost controls and efficient utilization of facilities. Responsible for growth of assigned service lines Performs all fiscal responsibilities according to hospital policies and procedures. Assesses, develops, implements and evaluates assigned ancillary/support services goals on a yearly basis. Develops reviews and revises assigned ancillary/support services policies and procedures and assures compliance with all state and federal regulations. Participates as requested on teams, committees, and special projects both internal and external to the organization. Demonstrates personal and professional growth and expertise by remaining current with state and federal associations and with professional trends, and by participating in community activities. Complies with all standards for safety, risk management, and infection control as required by enforcement agencies.
