Position Title: Admin Support III
Duration: 4-Month Contract-to-Hire (CTH)
Location: Tempe, AZ, Onsite, 5 days/week
Pay Range: $21-22/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage weekly container allocations (~100 containers) across the 3-phase delivery lifecycle
- Coordinate truck drivers and freight partners via the Relay load board
- Manage ATMI truck purchasing/allocation for daily operational needs
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve disruptions in real time, including:
- Port holds and Customs flags
- Warehouse refusals to accept a load/drop
- Truck mechanical issues (e.g., flat tires)
- Track and document container status and issue resolution in Excel
- Communicate updates, escalations, and coordination entirely via email
- Manage time effectively across a high-volume, fast-moving workload
Basic Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience working with computers and Office (Outlook, Word, and strong Excel)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work 40 hours/week, plus overtime as required
- Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area
- Must be 18 years of age or older
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completed a bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- Degree in Engineering, Operations, Logistics, or a related field
- Expertise in MS Access and SQL a plus
- Experience in manufacturing, transportation, customer service, and/or distribution environments
- Data management and data quality control experience, including pulling and analyzing large data sets
- Demonstrated experience using data to drive root cause elimination and process improvement
- Self-starter who enjoys working with data and spotting trends
- Supply chain or logistics background
- Comfortable in a high-growth, rapidly scaling operations environment
