Administrative Assistant / Front Office AdministratorSt. Barnabas Elementary SchoolReports To: PrincipalLocation: St. Barnabas Elementary SchoolSchedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM (35 hours per week)Compensation: $20.00/hourPosition SummarySt. Barnabas Elementary School is seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Administrative Assistant/ Front Office Administrator to join our school community. As the first point of contact for students,parents, faculty, staff, and visitors, this individual plays a vital role in creating a welcoming environment whileensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the school office.The Administrative Assistant provides clerical, organizational, and administrative support to the Principal,faculty, staff, students, and families, helping to advance the mission of St. Barnabas Elementary School andCatholic education.Key Responsibilities• Greet and assist students, parents, staff, and visitors in a professional, courteous, and welcomingmanner.• Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and other correspondence.• Maintain student attendance records and assist with daily attendance reporting.• Maintain student and staff files in a confidential, accurate, and organized manner.• Support the Principal and faculty with scheduling, photocopying, mailings, data entry, filing, andother clerical duties.• Assist with school communications, meetings, and special events as needed.• Maintain front office organization and oversee office supplies, placing orders when necessary.• Handle confidential information with professionalism, discretion, and integrity.• Assist with school information systems, including FACTS and other administrative platforms.• Uphold the values and mission of St. Barnabas Elementary School and the Catholic schoolcommunity in all interactions.• Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal.Qualifications• High school diploma required; Associate's degree or higher preferred.• Prior experience in an office, administrative, or Catholic school setting preferred.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).• Ability to learn and effectively utilize school information systems, including FACTS SIS, FACTSTuition.• Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism at all times.• Proficiency in Spanish is highly desirable.• Friendly, welcoming demeanor and commitment to the mission of Catholic education.Application ProcessInterested candidates should submit a cover letter and resume to:Giuseppe Campailla, PrincipalSt. Barnabas Elementary SchoolSt. Barnabas Elementary School is committed to fostering a faith-filled environment rooted in academicexcellence, service, and Catholic values.
