Job Summary

AHCCCS is seeking Administrative Assistant / Grant Application Reviewers to support the review, evaluation, and scoring of grant proposals. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for candidates with basic office experience and strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Read, review, and score grant applications.
• Evaluate proposals across various funding programs, including:
  • Telehealth Digital Transformation
  • Medical Diagnostic Equipment & EHR Upgrades
  • Rural Health Innovative Care
  • Technical Assistance Programs
  • Shared Services Consortiums
  • Mobile Digital Services
• Ensure applications meet program requirements and evaluation criteria.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the review process.
• Support initiatives that expand healthcare access and capacity in rural and Tribal communities.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of basic office experience.
• Strong reading comprehension and attention to detail.
• Ability to review and evaluate documents objectively.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Behavioral Health.
• Knowledge of Tribal Health systems.
• Program implementation experience.
• Health services or healthcare industry experience.
