Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and support departmental events such as Graduation Dinner, Research Day, and more.
- Manage student and faculty onboarding processes including orientations and packet reviews.
- Assist with academic functions, including course scheduling and registrar duties.
- Maintain departmental calendars and manage room requests and meeting coordination.
- Track and approve faculty time off requests.
- Support accreditation and compliance initiatives.
- Facilitate resident applicant interview processes and travel arrangements.
- Manage procurement and inventory, including office and research supplies.
- Oversee student administrative processes and scholarship coordination.
- Prepare and distribute dashboards and departmental reports.
- Assist faculty with letters of recommendation and general administrative support.
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
- Proficiency in using university procurement and scheduling systems.
- Experience in event coordination and administrative support.
Preferences:
- Previous experience in an academic or research setting.
- Familiarity with compliance and accreditation processes.
