JOB DESCRIPTION:
*Draft, format, and proofread legal documents including wills, trusts, deeds, closing documents, corporate formation paperwork, and contracts
*Assist with real estate closings, including title work coordination, preparation of closing statements, and post-closing follow-up
*Prepare and file documents with Florida courts, the Secretary of State (Sunbiz), and county recording offices
*Manage attorney calendar, deadlines, and client appointments
*Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, answering inquiries and providing status updates
*Maintain organized physical and electronic case files
*Handle correspondence, billing, and general office administration
*Conduct basic legal and public-records research as needed
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
*High School Diploma
*Prior experience in a law office, title company, or related setting
*Familiarity with Florida court e-filing, Sunbiz, and county recording procedures
*Strong written and verbal communication skills
*Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with legal practice management and document software
*Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing deadlines
*Discretion in handling confidential client information
