Description
Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark is currently seeking a Full Time Administrative Assistant for our Mobile Response and Stabilization Services Program located in Jersey City, NJ.
Requirements:
A high school diploma or GED is preferred, but not required.
1-2 years experience in office operations is preferred
Valid NJ drivers license
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Job Duties:
Provide administrative support to program management and daily office operations.
Manage records, documentation, and the program's management information system.
Maintain accounting records, budgets, billing, reimbursements, and payment requests.
Process timesheets and assist with payroll-related administrative tasks.
Coordinate calendars, meetings, appointments, and office communications.
Perform clerical duties, including filing, data entry, mail processing, and phone support.
Maintain office supply inventory and coordinate purchasing.
Track employee leave and maintain administrative records.
Ensure confidentiality of sensitive employee and client information.
Monitor reception areas and ensure compliance with facility safety and sign-in/sign-out procedures.
Identify and report safety concerns in accordance with organizational policies.
Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
