Additional responsibilities include contributing to curriculum assessment, program review, and departmental initiatives; supporting experiential learning, internships, and industry partnerships; working with the Film & TV lab staff to facilitate instructional use of lab/production facilities and equipment; and participating in other departmental and college service, professional development, and scholarly activities. Reporting to the Chair of the Humanities Department, the Assistant Professor in Film & Television will be responsible primarily for teaching courses in film studies (history and theory), with the ability to contribute to introductory video production and/or First-Year Seminar courses.
