Primary essential job functions involve ensuring rational drug therapy through a focus on prescription fillingdistribution medication therapy monitoring staff and student training and project coordination. Must be willingable to support the clinical pharmacy and other organizational activities as required. A commitment to patient safety customerCbrsatisfaction efficienteffective use of resources teamwork innovation and performance improvement is required.CbrCbrCpCpResponsibilitiesCbrCbr•Checks for safety accuracy appropriateness and completeness with respect to drug doseCbrroute frequency with consideration given to patient2Dspecific data including laboratory values age gender height weight and BSA.Cbr•Prepares controlled substances to be dispensed completing the appropriate documentation while maintaining an accurate perpetual inventory.Cbr•Performs weekly inventory and reconciliation of controlled substances. In lieu of an active MA licenseCbrcandidates must attain MA licensure prior to working 1000 hours at the Cambridge Health Alliance CHA. Failure to attain MA licensure within this time period will result in the discontinuation of employment at CHA.CbrWork xperience Minimum of five 5 years experience as a pharmacist is required.Cbr1.
