Job DescriptionLHH is currently accepting applications for an Accounts Receivable (AR) & Collections Manager for our client located in Hudson, Ohio. This is a direct hire, hybrid role. You must reside within reasonable commuting distance to be considered for this position.Pay Range: $99,000 - $115,000Interview process – 3 rounds.Position ResponsibilitiesManage and ensure high-quality billing, PO collection, cash collection, and cash application procedures that comply with customer requirements and the law.Analyze bad debt; review AR aging and make decisions on customer credit holds, collections, or determining other viable solutions.Develop and guide a high-performing team to meet individual and company performance goals.Develop policies and best practices to improve the quality of AR and collection processes.Develop initiatives to reduce the Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and monitor and report deviations.Prepare and distribute collection reports for the Leadership Team and prepare ad hoc reporting.Provide support for closing sales and AR monthly. Assist staff accountants with reconciliation and analysis as well as providing support for the annual financial audit and other federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.Assist sales and operations staff to meet business needs.Position RequirementsA minimum of a bachelor's degree in business, accounting or related field required.5+ years of work experience in AR or collections in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Experience leading a large team.Track record of driving improvements in AR cycle time and related metrics. Deep understanding of AR processes and metrics.Prefer someone who has worked in a multi-entity environment and understands the complexities involved.System conversion experience a plus.Proficient technical knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
