What You Will Contribute to OHM Advisors

As an Architecture Project Coordinator, you will support the development of architectural designs and construction documents for a variety of projects, taking a lead role in delivering a successful project and maintaining client satisfaction. Working alongside Project Architects, Interior Designers, and other members of our multidisciplinary team, you will help translate design intent into detailed, coordinated drawings used for bidding and construction.

In this role, you will be a trusted advisor to clients, working with our collaborative team of experts to provide the best solutions to meet our client's needs and deliver a successful project. You will contribute to the preparation of plans and details, field documentation, project organization, and construction coordination while continuing to develop your technical skills and understanding of the architectural design and construction process.

Your Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed architectural drawings and plans that communicate design intent and support bidding and construction.
• Assist Project Architects, Interior Designers and other allied disciplines in applying principles, methods, and techniques of the architectural, engineering, design, and construction disciplines.
• Review and draft plans and details in accordance with project design requirements and company standards.
• Support the preparation and coordination of construction documents, including plans and details, alongside Project Architects and Interior Designers.
• Assist with project filing, organization, and documentation throughout all phases of the project.
• Perform detailed field measurements and documentation.
• Prepare and submit applications for plan review to local jurisdictions.
• Complete assigned project responsibilities within established schedules and deadlines.
• Take initiative in moving assigned tasks and project responsibilities toward completion.
• Apply new design strategies, techniques, and industry practices.
• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Requirements

• Experience in Architectural drafting and documentation; a bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in a commercial architecture firm.
• Having a clear path to gaining your licensure, if not already licensed.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office programs.
• Strong verbal communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and an interest in architecture and the built environment.
• Ability to take initiative while working effectively within a collaborative team environment.
• Public-sector project experience is a plus.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel locally for field measurements and project needs as required.
