Assembler (On-site)

We are seeking an Electrical Assembler for our client’s electronics manufacturing operations. This position involves assembling, inspecting, and modifying electromechanical components and production subassemblies in a cleanroom environment.

• Assemble, disassemble, and modify production subassemblies according to work instructions and process plans.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, drawings, and assembly instructions.
• Inspect parts and materials for flaws before use and perform self-inspections of completed work.
• Use fixtures to accurately build assemblies.
• Manually solder or epoxy electrical components.
• Operate solder reflow ovens, pick-and-place machines, automated optical inspection (AOI) equipment, and automated measurement systems.
• Record production information using MRP and data collection software.
• Maintain accuracy, quality, and attention to detail throughout the assembly process.

Qualifications:

• Completion of at least two years of high school or trade school education.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and drawings.
• Ability to obtain solder certification.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Availability to work the stated second-shift schedule onsite.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Soldering experience.
• Experience with automated optical inspection (AOI).
• Experience with surface mount technology (SMT) and pick-and-place equipment.
• Familiarity with solder reflow ovens, automated measurement systems, and assembly fixtures.
• Experience using MRP and production data collection software.
• IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD certifications.

Pay Rate: $26.61 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, typically 4:30 p.m.–3:00 a.m. (four 10-hour shifts)
