Assistant Chef

Provides assistant as a member of the Restaurant Team to include making food, cleaning, counter service, sanitation, and stocking of products. All MAIDO jobs require ensuring a positive company image by providing excellent and memorable customer service. Assistant Chef job duties and responsibilities<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

• Ensure that all dishes are cooked well and presented in an aesthetical pleasing way
  <\/li>
• Prepare cooking ingredients for restaurant and deli
  <\/li>
• Maintain high standards on product freshness and hygiene
  <\/li>
• Maintain the workplace and back storage to be clean, safe and organized
  <\/li>
• Take orders and explain the food menu
  <\/li>
• Serve orders and take dishes away
  <\/li>
• Prepare special orders and requests
  <\/li>
• Place “Made on date stickers” on products and maintain the ingredient quality
  <\/li>
• Greet customers and respond to their inquiries courteously
  <\/li>
• Perform other kitchen duties as assigned

    • Ability to work well under intense time pressure
      <\/li>
    • Dedication to on -time arrival for shifts
      <\/li>
    • Available to work a variety of hours, days, and shifts, including weekends
      <\/li>
    • Ability to transport food safely or beverages to a table of three in a single trip
      <\/li>
    • Polite and hospitable attitude
      <\/li><\/ul>
