Assistant Professor of English

Georgetown College seeks applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor of English, beginning August 2027. The successful candidate will have either a Ph.D. or MFA and will be qualified to teach fiction writing and American literature. The position carries a 4/4 load per academic year, including composition and literature surveys. Editing experience or experience teaching editing and publishing is desirable, since the successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach in our new Editing and Publishing minor.
