Job Description
Assist the Superintendent with the day-to-day management and coordination of multifamily construction projects. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to maintain productivity and meet project schedules. Monitor construction progress to ensure work is completed in accordance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Conduct regular site walks and inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety requirements. Support the implementation and enforcement of site-specific health and safety procedures. Assist with scheduling, sequencing trades, material deliveries, and coordinating upcoming site activities. Maintain accurate daily reports, progress updates, site documentation, and inspection records. Identify construction challenges and work collaboratively with project management and field teams to resolve issues. Help manage punch lists, inspections, and project closeout activities.

The Successful Applicant
Previous experience as an Assistant Superintendent, Field Engineer, Project Engineer, or in a similar construction role. Multifamily construction experience is required, ideally involving ground-up residential developments. Working knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and building processes. Understanding of subcontractor coordination, site logistics, and construction sequencing. Knowledge of construction safety standards and quality control procedures. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively with subcontractors, project managers, and field leadership. Proactive attitude with a strong desire to learn, develop, and progress within construction management. Proficiency with construction management software and standard reporting tools is advantageous.
