Description

The Assistant Project Manager will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, owners, and subcontractors to support all aspects of project delivery. This individual will assist in managing schedules, budgets, procurement activities, subcontractor coordination, and project documentation to help ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join their project management team and support the successful execution of commercial construction projects.

Description

  • Coordinate construction project schedules, resources, and budgets to meet project goals.
  • Assist with on-site management and oversee daily operations to ensure project progress.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members to address project needs.
  • Monitor compliance with safety regulations and company policies on all sites.
  • Prepare and review project documentation to track milestones and key deliverables.
  • Support problem-solving efforts to address challenges and keep projects on track.
  • Travel to various project sites as needed to provide hands-on support and oversight.
  • Report project updates to senior management and stakeholders regularly.

Requirements Assist Project Managers in the planning and execution of commercial construction projects. Support project budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting. Coordinate subcontractor contracts, submittals, RFIs, and project documentation. Help develop and maintain project schedules and monitor progress against milestones. Communicate with clients, consultants, vendors, and project teams throughout the project lifecycle. Assist with procurement activities and material tracking. Participate in project meetings and maintain accurate records and reporting. Support change order management and project closeout activities. Ensure compliance with company standards, quality expectations, and safety requirements.
