New Gig Solutions is partnering with a growing consumer protection law firm that is adding a Georgia-licensed Associate Attorney to its Atlanta team. The firm represents everyday consumers who have been harassed or misled by creditors and debt collectors, and the work makes a real difference in people’s lives.

Position: Associate Attorney
Location: Atlanta, GA (hybrid). You must live within commuting distance of the 30339 zip code (Vinings / Cumberland area).
Salary: $90,000
Court: In-person court appearances in the Atlanta metro area as needed
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Bar Admission: Active Georgia Bar license required
Experience: 1+ year of law firm experience

About the Role

You’ll manage your own Georgia caseload, handling a mix of consumer protection litigation and transactional matters. The role offers broad responsibility and plenty of variety. You’ll work on a hybrid schedule and stay connected with the firm’s main office and team by phone, email, and Microsoft Teams.

What You’ll Do

• Manage a steady, diverse caseload of Georgia consumer clients
• Keep clients informed and supported throughout their matters
• Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and agreements
• Negotiate with opposing parties to resolve and settle claims
• Research contract law and consumer law issues, from simple to complex
• Make court appearances in the Atlanta metro area as needed

What You Bring

• Active Georgia Bar license
• At least 1 year of experience at a law firm
• Must live within commuting distance of the 30339 zip code
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• High ethical standards and professional integrity
• Solid legal research skills (LexisNexis experience is a plus)
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a remote team
