What You'll Do
As Associate Medical Director, you'll help guide the clinical excellence of a growing hospice program by:
- Providing expert medical leadership in pain and symptom management.
- Partnering with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to develop individualized plans of care.
- Serving as a trusted clinical resource and mentor for colleagues, patients, and families.
- Participating in interdisciplinary care conferences to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
- Evaluating hospice eligibility and recertification while supporting high-quality clinical outcomes.
- Promoting regulatory compliance and clinical best practices throughout the organization.
- Helping foster a culture of compassion, collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.

Whether you've spent years in hospice or have developed a passion for serious illness care through another specialty, you recognize the profound privilege of caring for patients at the end of life.
Ideal qualifications include:
- MD or DO with Board Certification in Hospice Palliative Care Preferred.
- Active Florida medical license (or ability to obtain one).
- Minimum of two years of recent clinical practice.
- Hospice and Palliative Medicine certification is welcomed but not required.
- Strong communication skills, emotional intelligence, and a collaborative leadership style.
- A commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
