The Associate Sales Representative supports revenue growth by developing new business opportunities and assisting in the early-to-mid stages of the sales cycle.
This role focuses on consultative, solution-based selling of Audio-Visual, Physical Security and IT solutions across multiple industries including commercial, education, nonprofit, and government.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Prospect and qualify new customers through outbound calls, emails, networking, and research.
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer needs, goals, and challenges.
- Support sales meetings, demonstrations, and site walks with senior sales and technical teams.
- Learn and position AV and IT solutions such as collaboration tools, conferencing, displays, networking, and managed services.
- Assist in preparing quotes, proposals, and sales documentation.
- Maintain accurate activity and opportunity records in the CRM system.
- Build relationships with customers and internal teams to support a positive sales experience.

Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 0–2 years of experience in sales, customer service, retail, hospitality, or other customer-facing roles.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Interest in technology, AV systems, or IT solutions strongly preferred.
Work Environment
- Office work environment with some travel to customer sites.
- Standard business hours with flexibility based on customer needs. Some off-hours work is expected for special events and customer communications.
Career Growth Opportunity
This role offers potential for long term advancement into Sales Representative or Account Executive positions through training.
$35,000 - $40,000 a year
This role offers base salary + commissions.
