Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 + Bonus

Join a Top 60 CPA firm experiencing continued growth and looking to add a talented Audit Senior / Audit Supervisor to its Chicago office. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced audit professional who enjoys client interaction, leadership responsibilities, and a clear path for long-term career advancement within a highly respected public accounting firm.

As an Audit Senior / Audit Supervisor, you'll lead fieldwork engagements, supervise and mentor staff, work directly with clients, and collaborate with managers and partners to deliver high-quality assurance services across a diverse client base.

What You'll Do

• Lead and execute audit, review, and compilation engagements from planning through completion.
• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for clients during engagements.
• Coordinate audit requests and deliverables with clients to ensure projects stay on schedule.
• Supervise, train, and mentor staff accountants while reviewing their work for accuracy and quality.
• Identify accounting, audit, and internal control issues and develop practical solutions.
• Collaborate with managers and partners on engagement strategy, risk assessment, and client service initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while providing exceptional service.
• Stay current on auditing standards, accounting regulations, and industry developments.

Qualifications

• CPA license or CPA eligibility required

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

• 3-4 years of experience as an Audit Senior in public accounting

• Experience running or in-charging audit engagements, including:

• Coordinating audit requests and deliverables with clients

• Managing engagement timelines and fieldwork

• Supervising and providing on-the-job training to staff

• Experience serving clients in one or more of the following industries:

• Manufacturing & Distribution

• Construction

• Technology

• Real Estate

• Professional Services

• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and auditing standards

• Excellent communication, leadership, and client relationship skills

• Daily access to a vehicle and the ability to travel to client locations and all firm offices as needed
