Automotive Technician

JD TIRE is looking for a full time auto technician to join our team.  Ideally we are seeking a technician with 2 years experience minimum, who can service all makes and models. We handle everything from tires, brakes and front end, exhaust, accessories, timing belts, engines, transmissions, clutches.  JD TIRE also specializes in lift kits, classic and performance cars. 

Position is  $30.00 flat rate with a 40 hour weekly guarantee, commensurate with experience. 

We have a growing loyal customer base along with new customers every day and need this position filled to keep up with our busy shop schedule!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Checking over vehicles thoroughly with a multi - point inspection and communicate issues to teammates

Diagnose and repair customer vehicles

Providing excellent customer service 

Qualifications in addition to mechanical skills:

Communicate effectively and work well with others in a professional manner 

Time management - managing one's own time and time of others

Basic Computer skills

Clean Driving Record

Own your own tools

NYSI license  - either currently have or obtain once employed
